Project Overview
The GuideLink Center in Iowa City provides easier access to immediate, onsite assessment and stabilization—outside of a hospital setting—for those 18 years and older who are experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis.
This project involved the construction of a single-story wood-framed building with masonry and Cor-ten siding panels. The facility has a metal roof, solar array, geothermal system, restrooms, offices, meeting and conference rooms, patient sleeping rooms and a shelter.
