This location was originally home to a bakery, then a market, and eventually a restaurant. The complete makeover of this existing space included a full demolition of the interior. We also cut new door openings to create access to the patios and provide more natural light. We installed hardwood flooring, built a new bar, remodeled restrooms, installed new exterior doors and created an elevated booth area. The scope of work included updating mechanical, electrical and plumbing, too. This project proved challenging because the original building was constructed of block and brick, with a concrete roof deck, and all the walls were load bearing.
