This project was a warehouse and office expansion. The space was divided among a shipping and receiving area, warehouse and high-bay storage, and a DNA sequencing machine area. A new dock was also part of the project. The addition’s exterior was precast architectural panels with brick facing. Energy efficiency was a big emphasis with this project. The precast has 2.5” insulation in the middle of the panels, high-efficiency equipment was installed, and we tied into the existing geothermal system. The second phase of the project included an office and restroom remodel in the area connecting the existing building and expansion.
